We explored how the initial conditions of Type Iax supernovae affect the amount of radioactive gas produced. We performed simulations with FLASH and used Python for data analysis. Due to the massive amounts of data produced by our simulations, we employed the use of MPI4PY to parallelize our analysis scripts and achieved a 40x improvement in runtime.
